Question by amador: Aprilia Scarabeo 200 v. Sym HD 200, which one do you think is better?
I’m looking for a mid-size scooter for urban/suburban driving, generally no highway, and I have trouble deciding which one is better. I’m new to bikes. Any personal opinions?

Both are quite good. They will both be reliable. I think most will go with the Aprilia, but for the money, the HD200 offers a lot. Another in similar class that might be worth looking into is the Kymco People S200. Good luck on the purchase, its a fun one!

I’d go for the Aprilia, but then, being a Piaggio man, I’m bound to say that, aren’t I! I would say check out the local dealers to see which one you get the best feel about. As far as the bikes themselves go, there’s not much in it.
