Question by kEAZY: Can you ride an Aprilia RS50 as an everyday bike on the street?
I’m seriously considering getting one, I think it would be extremely fun. Does anyone own one that is street legal? I found one on craigslist that is a 70cc instead of 50cc.
It has a bore kit. I looked at a insurance quote- $ 150 a YEAR for a teenager with speeding tickets, very decent coverage.

Why not – the motorcycle is street legal. Has blinkers, mirrors, headlight etc.
Although with its 50cc engine you might not be able to go as fast as traffic is… well you should consider where would you be riding it…

I owned an rs50, then rs125 and now a Sach XTC 125.
I remember the huge smile the Nifty Fifty (50cc) put on my face, mine was derestricted and went about 75mph, but being a two stroke it’s unhealthy to do that constantly. They are extremely fun bikes…for first bikes. The funniest thing was the screaming engine noise. That used to get me chuckling.
I used mine for communiting and pleasure.
