When riding with the throttle open, turn the kill switch off & on fast.

Why would you want it to backfire. Usually a bike will only backfire if it is not running correctly, like running too lean (especially when decelerating) or a leaky inlet manifold or such. If your running too lean you run the risk of burning out your valves and wrecking your ride.
