Question by : What’s more expensive to maintain: a 98 Harley Dyna Convertible or a Ducati 620 or 696 Monster?
I’m thinking of selling my Harley Dyna. I’d really love to experience owning a Ducati Monster, wondering how expensive they are to maintain. Do the Monsters really need such frequent valve adjustments?

If you do your own work they are all about the same. If you pay someone the Ducati (s) are more expensive on all fronts. Both the ducuati’s take about the same $ worth of maint.

Both are going to be very expensive to maintain. If you want to own a Ducati, do it. If you want a reliable cruiser style bike, buy a victory or honda. If you want a reliable sport bike, buy a CBR
