Question by zero_eden_delmo: Which bike would you choose and why?
2007 Triumph Speed Triple
2009 Ducati HyperFhighter “StreetFighter” “Rumored”
2008 Ducati 848
2009 Aprilia Rsv4
2009 Kawasaki Zx-6R
2009 Kawasaki Zx-8R “This is only rumored”

I still have time to pick.
I prefer a middle cc bike myself. But you cant always get what you want.

I am a little hesitant towards some more than others. The Ducati’s I am really reluctant agents because of the high engine maintenance among other things. The triumph also has some quality issues.

The Zx-6R would be if the 800cc version never comes out. This really would just be a bike I wouldn’t have to worry about. The rumored 800cc would just be perfect for me.

The Rsv4 would be more like a personal treat for me. : )
The bike still would have to meet my standards. Their is still no word on whether the V4 is going to be replacing the current Rsv or if its going to be a special model. Hopefully its the replacement.

Well what do you think. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

you didn’t say how old you are, how many years of serious bike riding and on what you have. These are all mid class bikes,

February 26, 2008 Aprilia has taken the wraps off the 1000cc, V-4 engined superbikehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sport_bike%23Super_bike it plans to race in the World Superbike Championship in the 2009 season in front of an audience of more than 1,200 dealers attending the International PiaggioReview-of-Three-Wheeled-Vehicles Mar-08 Group Convention in Milan. The race version of Aprilia’s first ever 4-cylinder engine is already making a claimed 207 horsepowerhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horsepower – with more room yet for development potential – and the new bike is due to make its road debut by the end of 2008. The unique, compact four-cylinder 65 degree V engine configuration achieves peak power at 13,500rpm and uses a computer controlled fly-by-wire system similar to that found in the recent R1 and R6 Yamahas for controlling power output and traction.

In keeping the engine’s footprint small, Aprilia have found an innovative way to drive the dual overhead cams; the inner (inlet) cams are driven by a conventional chain, and the outer ones are actually driven by the inner ones, through a series of gears
that would be my choice of what youve listed.
